Placing Signs and Lockboxes

The sign and lockbox should be placed on the listing after photos and videos have been taken of the property. This ensures that they do not appear in any marketing materials, as the MLS will reject photos and videos that include them.

Step 1: Picking Up The Sign & Lockbox

1. Pick up a sign with the executive agent’s name on it from the office
2. Clean the sign and frame with Windex or all-purpose cleaner

Step 2: Placing The Sign & Lockbox

1. Download Bubble Level App on your phone

2. Place the sign easily noticeable in all directions.
3. Use the Level App to make sure the sign is level with the ground
4. Place the Lockbox on the front door or somewhere secure near the front door.
5. Take a photo of the lockbox's Serial Number
6. Take a photo of the location of the Lockbox

Step 3: Notify All Parties

1. Send an @all message in the property’s Google Spaces chat notifying all parties that the sign and lockbox have been placed on the property.
2. Attach a photo of the lockbox serial number
3. Attach a photo of the lockbox location
